Im not sure what the bad reviews are referring to. Im running 9.1 on an iPad 2 (not iPad Air 2, just iPad 2) and it works fine. Im really impressed with the use of the screen - no wasted space which gives highly legible buttons that are easy to tap with not mistakes. I havent tried writing programs yet, but the Help section is quite extensive. I wont have to go hunt for and download the 11C manual from HP. I have an actual HP 12C financial calculator and this scientific version mimics the performance of the real calculator quite well. I did have a problem with the image of the keyboard being upside down on my iPad (which was important because I have a keyboard cover which makes changing the orientation difficult). I contacted the developer and had the solution within a day - go into Settings/General and change "Enable Rotation" to ON. Worked like a charm. I was very glad of the quick response.
