I do still use my beloved 11C at my desk but now this app lets me have it everywhere. The TVM and unit conversion additions mean this is the only calculator I need. Thank You

A beautiful and faithful reproduction, better by a mile than HPs own attempt. Wish it was a 15c but the 11c will do more than Ill ever need as a grow up. How often do I need to solve trig functions anyway. Also I still have my 15c from 1985. A masterpiece.

Will the best RPN calculator get a version for the iPad 3?

Have loved my original HP11c hand held since it first came out over 30 yrs. ago. Still use it, but find the RLM versions to have all the look and feel of the original with even more function and convenience (just one device to carry) Ive had the RLM versions for many years, going back to the Palm Pilot and first Mac iterations. It was the first purchase I made for my iPhone and the first app I installed on my 3 gen iPad. Through the years I have checked out nearly all of the possible competitors and none surpass this one in authentic experience and overall capability (including HPs own which are disappointing in comparison).

I had an 11c since about 1987 but lost it several years ago in the field. It was my workhorse calculator while in the field surveying and this app seems to be its clone. Great to have it back and sitting on my iPhone. I look forward to putting it back to work on survey computations...

I LOVED this app for all the reasons everyone else has stated here. However, it has recently started freezing up on me. I first discovered the issue when building a lengthy program, but it is now freezing when loading a simple Area of Circle program. What happened? Has anyone else experienced this issue since the latest update, or is it just me? I guess Ill visit RLMs site and see. Otherwise, an excellent app that I used almost daily and was thrilled to have.

App freezes alot, seems like does support iphone5. Also, please fix the lame screen icon!

Request an option to have nice clear Arabic numerals in the display in place of the LCD segments of the original calculator.

This app used to be great. Now it freezes after a couple of minutes and takes all results with it. Wake up developer!

In the late 90s I made the mistake of trading my 11c for a new 32SII. I regretted it ever since so I love this app. I was concerned about the crashes and freezing but emailed RLM and they responded very quickly letting me know that iOS changes caused problems and they were working on it. They also told me deleting and reinstalling the app usually helps. I was very pleased with both a quick response and a response that show they read my email. Since I procrastinate and havent updated my iOS the app works fine on my iPhone.

App freezes and quits frequently on all my ios devices. Needs fixed for current ios versions.

I spent time (and I-tune money) to find the best RPN calculator and THIS is it!!! And now it is better with additional functions. Best accuracy and great Help too. I dont use it daily but when I need it, I can jump right in and use effortlessly. The finest...

This app is perfect. If you have an 11c then this is perfect. I Highly recommend it.

Ive been using a real HP-11C since the early 1980s, and this app since its earlier versions for iOS 2.0. Ive tried others, but this is the best. Its been refined & improved through the years, making it now more easy to use & more powerful than the real HP-11C.

I have been using the 11C for some time, and really thought it useful. I just logged in to iTunes and got the update. I lost a lot of functionality. The menus are NOT what is displayed on this page. It now shows up as 11C Pro, not 11C Scientific, and the conversions are gone. I used them all the time. I intend to roll back to the "old" version. Update: Show Registers shows the register labels, but not the values. The overall problem seems to be that it was not designed with the iTouch in mind. Menus have been changed, and there is no mention of that. I found the menus that I missed. They didnt appear because the format and size has changed. They are not as convenient as before. At the top of the Length conversion list are au, chains, furlongs, hubbles, fathoms...sound like common units to all those voting 5 stars? Come on, I like to have all those conversions, but lets be realistic...I usually am converting twixt US and metric, not kph and lightyears. Maybe this looks and works great on iPads and iPhones, but those are not as convenient as the iTouch in my pocket. We should be able to re-order conversions to the ones we use the most. We should be able to paste from the buffer into any operation that has Load capability. Loading programs, as good as the interface is, is tedious when we already have them in a standard text format. We should be able to save to a non-proprietary file OR be able to copy the program | data registers to a text format so that we can paste it elsewhere.

I want to revise the review below because after trying to use the latest revision I find it is almost impossible to use because it is so difficult to get the key strokes to register. Not sure I understand why this has changed but it is too unreliable now and I find myself using other calculators. This is a great app and the units conversion feature is a very nice add on. There are two issues with the latest rev I do not like. First, the buttons do not seem to be as responsive as in the previous version and I find it is now a pain to use due to the consistent unreliability of the keyboard response. Second, for a quick calc, the previous version would shrink to a narrow form factor when the phone is held upright. The new version only remains in the sideways form factor.

Loved the old one. New one has some annoying behaviors. Frequently have to click keys twice. The back space key only works sometimes. I hear the click but nothing happens. Same with clx key. May a future upgrade will help.
