I bought my first RLM HP11c simulator in 2006. I still love this calculator, and this simulation is the best Ive seen. Considering the actual calculators still sell for over $100 on eBay, this app is a bargain.

This worked great until I recently went from 4s to 5s. Now in landscape mode many of the keys simply dont work. Making the calculator useless.

Having used a HP 11c calculator for many years, the 11c is certainly one of my iPhone applications. I just think Version 5.0 took a step backwards with the OPT function as the previous version had a much better display as you could see all the information required in the popup screen. I would be really great if we could have that back again.

But now its really hard to get keystrokes to register. Big calcs are hard to put in bc a single missed key often requires starting over. Great app other than this issue PLEASE fix! Def 5 stars besides keypad error, which wasnt there in previous version.

Having had my 11C since 1981, and yes it still works, this is an "essential" app for classic HP users.

I could live with it now showing the RLM logo instead of the classic ‘11C Scientific’, but I can’t live with the default trigonometric function DEG always being displayed no matter what. If you have used and loved the 11C for three decades like me, I predict this is going to irritate you very soon. On the real 11C and on the previous RLM versions, shift-g DEG would turn this off, so the display shows only numbers. Now you can’t turn it off. I already rolled back to the previous version.

Agree with previous review. Hard to get consistent key strokes. Previous version was not a problem. Do like that there is no vertical mode. That was a good change.

Wont open on latest update. Hope they fix it. Liked previous versions.

The Oct. 8 update crashes on my iPod Touch 4 running iOS 6. The app has become totally useless.

The latest update has a blank icon and crashes immediately when I try to start it, on my iPad 2 with iOS 6.1.3. Seems ok on my iPod Touch 5, iOS 7.1.2.

Ditto.....The "upgrade" just caused my app to go bye bye.

After latest update app wont open up on iPhone running iOS 6.1.3. App icon is solid white. Fix this or refund monies for those that paid for this.

Updated on iphone ios 6.x and crashed. Contacted RLM support via web page link (app link didnt work) and got very responsive and descriptive reply. Excellent customer support in this regards. Unfortunately, "whats new" description says (somewhat cryptically) that update is for ios 8 AND ABOVE only!!! Main app page still said ios6.... Anyway, Apples update app was supposed to check for ios 7 and below and block the update...it didnt. RLM doesnt know how to get older version reinstalled as Apple doesnt allow selection of older versions. (I was able to do so by using itunes backup from an earlier backup on a non-web-connected pc). Very leery now of applying any updates in case Apple is no longer preventing update for older, "unsupported" ioss.

All the other apps that require the recent OS abort the update before they kill the app. These amateurs cant manage that. I would avoid this app until they learn how to do what everyone else succeeds at.

Hmmm... these previous reviews seem harsh. Ive been running this app for over five years and never had a problem. Im currently using an iPhone 5 with 8.1.2 iOS. When I first looked for an HP 15C calculator this app was the only one available... so I settled for the 11C version. I use it every day at my engineering job as I dont like to carry my real HP 15C to job sites.

I first bought this and it worked fine. Now with later iOS updates it doesnt work and is buggy, giving bad wrong answers when running programs. It also crashes and does generally in explainable things. I was hoping for updates to fix it but none have come forth. Dont buy this!

I run the latest IOS on my Air and have had no issues using it. I also use it on my PC

I bought this several years ago and it worked just like the 11c. No tools button. I havent used it in a while and now it is terrible. Only half the screen shows when I try to edit a program and there is no way to get back to the calculator without shutting down the app and then all data is lost. Im going to try another company. Ive lost too many hours today trying to get this to work.

I have been a long time user of RPN and have always preferred the HP11c style calculator. This is as close as you are going to get to this style calculator on a screen. I love it. Now I dont have to pay a high price for one on eBay.
